Votre rôleManaged the Supply Chain Activities under the following countries (and additional countries if required) Sub Saharan Africa Countries. Ensuring the following tasks and activities are managed under the countries as mentioned above:
Daily validation of orders to ensure equipment under Strategic Control is processed according to custom regulationsManaged the relationship with relevant customs to ensure required license are being renewedMonitor and assist with warehousing operations to meet regional/global guidelinesAssist with identification of all assets including labeling, reporting and database managementAssist with inventory levels and report discrepanciesAssist and manage the purchasing of inventory from vendorsPerform reporting and monitoring tasks to measure database integrityPerform stock control tasks to ensure database information matches physical inventoryAssist and co-ordinate shipments of assets and inventory between centresTo manage and resolve all escalationsMonitor service partners (warehouse managers, freight companies) perform their services within guidelines and within the agreed SLAs.To co-ordinate all Import & Export activityAssist the regional/sub-regional managers with planning functions and special projectsAssist with managing of Assets in accordance with the Regional Asset Control & Systems Manager’s guidelinesAssist and co-ordinate the re-allocation of inventory between warehousesWork with customers both internal and external to ensure service delivery meets their expectations and contracted SLAs.Co-ordinate staging activities to meet Service Delivery requirementsAssist with testing of returned inventory and co-ordination of repairsWork with other business entities to address operating requirement for import & export within compliance measuresBill validation for import/export activities within country/sub-regionCreate the necessary Purchase Orders as per internal process to ensure vendor payment.[Logistics and operational related ]Support out-of-office hour coverage in the event need arises for Fault Escalation within Sub Saharan Africa Region Managed all EPR cases raised during out-off-office hours and deal with DHL Call centre to activate part at the nearest warehouse in Sub Saharan Africa RegionGood knowledge base on the major countries in Sub Saharan Africa Region in term of custom regulation, restriction and any special handling requirement
Votre profilManagement background in Logistics within the Telco/IT environment is desired.
Commercially aware ie pro-active in cost management & efficiency
Good Analytical skills
Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
