Job Description:
Our client is seeking an experienced Sales Manager from a background in both heavy machinery utilised in the mining industry, to join their team in Gauteng.
Responsibilities:
Managing the profitability and growth of the region.
Business development and maintaining current relationships.
Managing the entire sales process from tendering to delivery.
Market intelligence.
Providing technical input and support for customers.
Developing successful marketing and sales strategies to increase market share in the region.
Providing mentoring and training.
Requirements:
Sales or Marketing qualification.
10 years’ experience in the sales of heavy mining equipment or parts with at least 5 years at management level.
Previous experience with sales into Africa.
Valid driver’s licence.
Computer literate in Microsoft Office.
Willing to travel locally and internationally when required.
Contractual Information:
Permanent contract.
