Job Description:

A leading international mining company is looking for a management Accountant to join their Johannesburg office.

The company as several projects in central Africa, the role will be to manage the financial process of these projects as well as the Johannesburg office

Responsibilities:

Managing of the financial processes and systems across several business units

Front line support and financial analysis

Controlling financial and non-financial metrics and knowledge base

Develop and analyze monthly forecasts of the business units, and identify business risks as they arise and provide possible solutions

Co-ordinate budgets and forecasts preparation with various departments

Responsible for monthly, quarterly financial closes, meeting reporting deadlines and explaining variations to forecasts

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

Relevant Accounting or Financial degree

5 years’ experience in a similar role

Experience in the mining sector

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel

Benefits and Contractual information:
