Job Description:

A mining services client of ours has a vacancy for a Junior Logistics Supervisor to be based in Johannesburg.

Responsibilities:

Handle purchase orders and quotes

Handle internal sales

Assist with a logistics strategy and providing suggestions as to where can possibly improve

Oversee transportation of products

Heavily involved with the logistics inside the warehouse

Liaising and negotiating with suppliers and customers

Coordinating different partners

Sales orders

Track imports and exports

Dispatch notices

Unloading and packing stock

Ad hoc administrative duties when required

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

Matric

Relevant tertiary diploma/degree

At least 3-5 years’ experience in a similar role

Must have previous exposure to a mining environment

Must be able to work independently

Must have strong interpersonal skills
