Job Description:

Our client, a well-renowned mining house in South Africa, is seeking an Instrumentation Technician with strong experience on Honeywell Siemens PLC and Scada used within the mining industry to join their team in Limpopo.

Responsibilities:

Instrumentation maintenance, breakdowns and repairs.

Ensure planned maintenance is carried out as scheduled.

Ensure legal and safety standards are adhered to.

Undertaking modifications and improvements on equipment where necessary.

Standby duties.

Mentoring and training subordinates.

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

Instrumentation Trade Certificate.

National Diploma in Instrumentation.

7 years previous experience in instrumentation maintenance within the mining industry.

Experience in network integration advantageous.

Experience on Honeywell Controllers and Experience Scada Control Systems advantageous.

Valid driver’s license.

South African citizenship.

Contractual information:

Residentially based; relocation will be required.

Permanent contract.
