Group Collections Manager (Africa Experience) – Johannesburg

Job Description:

A well-established client of ours is in search of a Group Collections Manager who is process orientated and has Africa experience.

Responsibilities:

Management of all teams that fall under the scope of debt collection and its subcategories

Updating systems and keeping records within the department

Handle queries throughout Africa with regards to collections

Monitor staff and processes as well as reporting on findings

Conduct quality checks within departments to ensure standards are adhered to

Identify potential risks with regards to collections and report findings to COO

Assist with maintaining loan administration system and database of information

Ensure up to date administration of systems and database information (i.e. regarding pay dates and due dates)

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

Matric and relevant tertiary qualifications

Experience with reconciliations with a strong inclination towards the analytical

Experience in debtors management software advantageous

A strong ability to interpret spreadsheets as well as create them

Minimum of 3 years’ experience in collection on a managerial level

Understanding of payroll processes

Advanced MS Excel skills (Vlookup and pivots experience essential)
