The ideal candidate for this role will be responsible for the financial services, debtors, reporting and analysis as well as balance sheets reconciliations within the Group.  If you are able to analyse high data volumes and the ability to suggest process enhancements, work well on your own and enjoy working with various stakeholders from other divisions; then this role is ideal for you.
Here’s what you can expect to be doing in the role
Processing of month-end journals
Month-end analysis of high data volumes and reporting (Debtors and Minor subs)
Preparation of month-end balance sheet reconciliations
Monthly interactions with financial services team to ensure reasonability of monthly financial information
Inter-company accounting and related transaction processing and reporting
Qualifications and Experience
BComm in financial accounting or management accounting or similar tertiary qualification
Member of a professional institution such as the Institute of Certified Bookkeepers
Minimum of 3 to 5 years’ experience in an accounting role
Knowledge of automated financial and accounting reporting systems
Previous working experience in retail/ financial services would be advantageous
Advance Excel (Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP) is non-negotiable
SQL exposure and working knowledge will be an added advantage
