APM Terminals IS Cape Town (Pty) Ltd has a vacancy for an Operations Administrator (Tracking) based at the container depot in Killarney Gardens, Cape Town. The position will report to the Yard Supervisor. Shift, weekend and overtime work will be required. This position liaises with Management, Employees, Suppliers & Customers.

Key responsibilities

Ensuring that every container is tracked in /out using the Depot Management system.

Reconciliation between system tracking versus physical tracking to be completed daily and to be handed to Department Head for sign off.

Update all relevant statuses of containers moving from work areas completed before end of shift.

Ensure that HSSE compliance

Build good customer relations with shipping lines and hauliers.

Attend to customer emails and queries within 48 hours

Locating of unit(s) in yard

Updating and accurate record keeping of gate out sheet

Matric/Grade 12
