Job Description:

The role entails the execution of a new rewards program for a media company in Angola.

The ideal candidate has had experience in marketing and/or sales in a marketing agency or media company and manages aspects of the program and operations in Angola.

Managing various stakeholder relationships that are key to the success of the program

Co-ordinate various marketing activities for the program launch and continued awareness of the program with customers

Responsibilities:

First point of contact for all program elements in-country

Build and maintain relationships with partners and benefit providers. Also manage any queries that they may have on the program

Set up bi-weekly status meetings with benefit providers to go through campaign stats, consumer queries, upcoming campaigns etc

Leverage these relationships to create opportunities that further the program’s success

Continuously communicate the value of the program with existing and potential benefit providers

Build and maintain relationships with client in-country teams.

Provide strategic input into marketing strategy and plans based on an in-depth view of the market

Ensure there is ongoing communication and collaboration on the plans in place with relevant marketing teams

Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained

Ensure all interactions with partners, clients and other teams are professional and that quality is instilled into all processes

Be proactive, take responsibility / ownership of tasks / problems

Ensure all documentation sent to other departments is correctly quality assured

Work to ensure deadlines are met and budgets are maintained

Adapt the business model to be culturally relevant without losing its identity

Requirements: Qualification and Skill

5 years’ experience in Marketing/Rewards/ Program Management

Tertiary qualification in marketing or communications

Negotiation

Account management

Excellent verbal and writing communication

Key Account Management

Must speak Portuguese
