Power subsector skills strengthening studyThe consultant is required to undertake skills assessment of the power subsector and based on the findings, make recommendations in view of upgrading an existing training facility or establishing a greenfield facility for provision of power subsector skills development and strengthening programs throuh induction programmes, refresher programmes, apprentice, hands-on training and capacity enhancements on new technologies.
In particular, the Legal Expert should take leads in the review of the policy, legal and institutional framework relevant to the technical training in Uganda and provide legal support to the Consultancy.
QUALIFICATIONDegree in law as a minimumAt least 7 years of direct experience in policy and legal framework of education sector in UgandaShould have a valid certificate to practice law in UgandaShould have participated in at least one assignment in education policy and legislative review
