EVIDENCE AND LEARNING COORDINATOR
  The role of the Evidence and learning shall manage the development and operationalization of the evidence based structured learning for the Sponsorship programming to inform both internal and external SCI programming, fundraising and advocacy.
The role will also include facilitation and coordination of the Knowledge sharing platforms and will arrange and facilitate knowledge sharing events with Staff, Partners and other relevant stakeholders.
In the event of a major humanitarian emergency, the role holder will be expected to work outside the normal role profile and be able to vary working hours accordingly.
QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE   Essential
Bachelor’s degree either in Humanities
Post graduate qualifications in Knowledge Management or Information management or Monitoring and Evaluation or relevant equivalent
Minimum of 5 years’ experience in international development, developing and managing monitoring and learning systems, research, and overseeing baselines/evaluations.
Experience in child protection programming, alternative care experience would be preferred
Excellent communication and leadership skills
Passion for evidence-driven development programming and interest in ongoing international research
Demonstrated experience in developing or overseeing data management solutions.
Demonstrated capacity for leveraging project results towards broader systemic impact.
Demonstrated experience at coordinating knowledge sharing through a variety of mediums / communication channels across multiple stakeholders
Demonstrated experience with an iterative learning, and implementation, approach
Ability to work with documentation/communication application like illustrators, Publisher, Power Bi
Photography and videography skills
Fluency in written and spoken English
Desirable
Effective at collaborating and influencing across multiple stakeholders
Excellent skills in training, capacity building, coaching, and mentoring
Ability and willingness to dramatically change work practices and hours, and work with incoming teams, in emergencies
Previous experience working in the field.
Commitment to and understanding of Save the Children’s aims, values and principles including rights-based approaches
