Passerelles numériques (PN), a non-profit organization, is dedicated to enabling highly disadvantaged youths, through their abilities and their commitment, to access education and technical and vocational training, in the sector of Information Technology. We work to build strong employability which will allow them and their families to sustainably escape poverty, and contribute to the social and economic development of their countries.
Established in Cambodia, the Philippines and Vietnam, Passerelles numériques currently trains 342 students and employs 98 people based in these three countries including a small team in France.
Passerelles numériques relies on the financial and skills sponsorship of several corporate partners such as Accenture, Econocom, Microsoft and Société Générale and also receives support from individual donors.
In Cambodia, Passerelles numériques started its mission in 2005, with a training center based in Phnom Penh. PN Cambodia offers a two-year vocational training program for young people in precarious situations. Today, PN Cambodia (PNC) trains 122 students and graduated 1,437 young disadvantaged since 2005.

The intern will assist the team in checking the consistency (presence of expected files and resources, content that makes sense) of existing material and help to develop new material.
The intern will help us in developing a computational thinking test and help us to analyse the results of various versions of the test on various generations of students (basic statistical analysis; correlation).
When needed, the intern will teach to groups of students in remedial training sessions and workshops. Depending on your skills, motivation and involvement, we might ask you to be the main teacher of a course.
The intern will help us to describe the expected tasks of a 6 weeks project (list the requirements, write high level specifications).
The intern will portray a product owner for two projects (meetings with group of students developing the applications, feedback on their work, etc.).
The intern will be part of a jury during the final presentations of the students.
The intern will help us to test (functional / black box software testing) the applications developed by the students. These tests will be part of the final assessment.
Depending on your skills, you might help us to maintain PHP/MySQL applications (fix bugs, develop new features, test, and write documentation). Most of these applications are written in Laravel and VueJS.
