Key responsibilities– Plan operations in Harper and other locations of barge and inland operations.- Execute and communicate operational contingencies.- Improve customer’s satisfaction by ensuring cargo is delivered as per our promised.- Follow up with Vessel, barge or trucking agencies to handle smooth cargo flow and delivery from the point of pick-up to the customer’s warehouse.- Process all transit operations: import and export/road and air/border crossing.- Inform the client and the hierarchy of the steps in the execution of the contract, including notice of arrival, delays, delivery etc.
– Collect all the documents necessary to carry out the operations properly and keep an accurate account of all execution, from pick up point to delivery at the customer’s storeroom.- Prepare and send work order to vendors before execution and PODs after execution.- Monitor and validate spending commitments.- Maintain good relations with customers and different administrations (customs, terminals, vendors, relative Ministries and Agencies, etc.)proactively notify all stakeholders of contingency that my result to deviation from plan.- Performing other tasks defined by the CX manager

Job overview (purpose/ summary): The position is set to deliver customer’s cargo as promised through a proper planning and execution of min-vessel transport and inland delivery of cargo from pick-up point to the customer’s premises. You will also be responsible for executing efficient and effective operations at the lowest possible cost for all services and terminals under your scope.
