ACF recruits 01 Two Link Nutrition Causal Analysis (Nca) Experts
We are looking for: TWO LINK NUTRITION CAUSAL ANALYSIS (NCA) EXPERTS
Context: Irish Aid in partnership with the Liberia WASH consortium, aim to undertake a high impact, sustainable and replicable project to reduce stunting in Liberia. The specific objectives of the project are to formulate a strategy and Theory of Change (TOC) to address child stunting in a holistic, integrated and sustainable way and to conduct advocacy for the nutrition actions based on the experiences of the formative research. The aim of the project is to contribute to the improvement of nutritional security with replicable multi-sector interventions in 5 counties of Liberia. The program will be implemented through three phases in 5 counties. Different approaches will be developed and informed by the analysis and formative research. Awareness raising and advocacy will also be carried out using the research findings. ACF is leading the consortium and as part of the formative research is undertaking a Link NCA in 5 counties to support the formative phase. The main objectives are to better understand the linkages between nutrition, WASH and food security/ livelihoods in the country as a whole as well as in specific geographic areas.

Country: LIBERIA – Monrovia (but the implementation will be across 5 counties, this will include isolated time in the field)

The Position: Under the supervision of the country coordinator and the technical advisor, you will be responsible to lead the LINK NCA in 5 counties. More precisely, you will in charge to:
The Applicant: You hold a Master degree in a field relevant to ACF expertize (WASH, FSL, Nutrition & Health, MHCP) with 5 years experiences in developing countries, and an extensive experience in quantitative/qualitative research. You are recognized for your expertise in multi-sectoral understanding of malnutrition and in community consultation. You have a strong capacity of coordination with several stakeholders and to work and live in isolated setting. Excellent diplomacy, negotiation and representation skills are required thus team management experience. An experience of working in Liberia is a plus Your English is fluent (spoken and written).
