Job Purpose This role covers Convenience Retail (CR), Other Non-Fuel Retailing (Mobile financial services- car wash…) marketing aspects within Vivo Energy to the targeted Retail in the markets where we operate and aspire to operate. The overall objective is to assist the Operating Units (OU’s) in the development and implementation of marketing programs for ONFR that will support the achievement of market penetration, brand health and financial targets. The role requires a good understanding of shopper marketing strategies and tactics, and general consumer and shopper marketing principles. A deep understanding of the external market and competitor activities is also essential. Principal Accountabilities Brand management Ensure compliance with Brand guidelines and support in maintaining brand integrity across product lines, advertising, and all other internal and external communication as it pertains to assigned brand. Planning Support OUs in the development of brand plans with an eye toward growth and profitability. Execution & Reporting Follow up the implementation of the marketing activities as per plan for all categories with a focus on CR (shops & QSR) and LPG Business performance: Measure and report performance of all marketing campaigns, and assess against goals (ROMI and KPIs) in collaboration with the OU Marketing Managers Mid-level Marketing professional with 5 years’ experience at Brand Manager level, preferably in an FMCG company Good Retail and/or Trade Marketing experience would be a plus Good knowledge of marketing operational (promotions, activations, new product launch etc) Brand management knowledge (brand essence,brand positioning,communication guidelines, etc) Project management skills: ability to handle multiple projects at a time. Personal attributes include: Ability to work collaboratively as well as independently Ability to work virtually and provide the needed support Results oriented and self-motivated Good capacity of organisation and prioritization Strong consumer and shopper orientation English is essential and French is a plus |
