Represent the CP section as their M&E focal in M&E task and program meetings.
Technical support and Capacity Building to partners Assist in developing the M&E functions for partners to monitor the implementation of program activities; for a standardized and consistent implementation of Monitoring tools and indicator tracking.

Support partners in the development of MIS functions in program activities, as well as SOP on data flows and management.

Develop an M&E capacity building plan for partners’ staff; NCCM and MoSS, NCCM, MoJ/Prosecution office and oversee its implementation.

Oversee and review work done by program partners’ M&E or MIS consultants to ensure its alignment with UNICEF standards.

Result Based Reporting Well-functioning Monitoring and performance tracking UNICEF System that is aligned with EU DOA, other donors and UNICEF specs and guidelines.

Support staff in M&E data plans and tools developed and effectively utilized to gauge progress against set results in a standardized fashion
Coordination with the CP Section Chief and Staff and UNICEF M&E Specialist in fulfilling UNICEF and donor reporting requirements–preparation of timely and analytical progress reports.
Oversee Updated CPC dashboard with highlights for field results and challenges.

 

Updated dashboard with highlights for CPCs and CHL cases.

Quality Assurance Support CP section staff manage field results and carry out periodic quality programmatic field monitoring visits for validation and quality assurance.

Support section focal points and field coordinators in data analysis and maintenance of the CP M&E system plans in collaboration with the different sections.

 QUALIFICATIONS, SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES

University degree social sciences.
Minimum 2 years of experience in child protection; systems and policy with particular relevance to the Egyptian child protection system.
Substantial knowledge on M&E regards to child protection and juvenile justice.
Experience in working with community and government counterparts on child protection issues.
Experience in facilitating participatory processes and consensus building; policy dialogues, partnership networking and training workshops with government stakeholders.
Ability to travel to different governorates on a monthly basis.
CONDITIONS OF WORK
 The consultant will be working on a full-time basis as per designated working days.

-Fee for services to be provided based on the deliverables in the Terms of Reference.
