Senior Accountant (Financial Modelling / Cost Reporting / Mining / CA / CIMA) – Namibia
Namibia, NamibiaReference: 152-0806LH Job Description: Our client is seeking an experienced Senior Account with strong financial modelling and cost reporting experience in the mining sector to join their team in Namibia. Responsibilities:Assist the Management Accountant in providing a cost effective management accounting service in line with company policies and procedures.Preparation and distribution of management reports against budget and business plans.Implement and drive cost saving initiatives.Monthly and long term budgeting and cash flow forecasting.Developing and maintaining budgeting and cash flow forecasting models.Cost analysis and reporting.Developing and implementing internal controls, policies and procedures.Management of insurance claims processes.Continuous improvement initiatives.Analysing and interpreting various other financial data. Requirements:Bachelor’s Degree in Financial Accounting.CA or CIMA qualification advantageous.8 years’ experience in management accounting with at least 3 years within a mining environment.Well-versed in financial moedelling, cost accounting principles and applications.Advanced Excel knowledge.Valid driver’s licence.This role is only open to Namibian citizens currently residing in Namibia. Contractual Information:Fixed term contract.Residentially based – relocation required.
