If you are prepared to dedicate yourself to carrying out projects under sometimes difficult conditions and you match the requirements set out below, we look forward to receiving your application for the position of Junior Expert Programme Coordination (m/f)in Bamako The position is to be filled as soon as possible, with an initial contract duration until June 30, 2020. Employment location will be Bamako, Mali. The objective of this post is to provide direct support to the Country Director for the further development of programmes and projects on the basis of the specified framework as regards contents, scheduling and finances. Furthermore you support the communication of Welthungerhilfe’s work within the projects, with partners in Germany and abroad. Your responsibilities • Development of regional/country concepts and concept papers• Prepares co-financing and sponsor applications in coordination with the respective superior• Monitors schedules and completion regarding narrative reporting• Assists national staff in relation to project-specific, technical issues• Participates in the preparation of regular reports on the implementation status of the project and local developments• Participates in coordination committees (e.g. emergency aid situations)• Give support for the project managers in the implementation of a project-related monitoring system (remote monitoring), including impact monitoring• Networking with donors and other stakeholders Your profile • A university or polytechnical degree in a relavant subject• Various internships outside of Europe• Very good command of German, French and English• Good writing skills• Ability to work in a mutinational environment• Abbility to work in a team Our offer We offer you co-operation in a highly dedicated team and a responsible scope of tasks.
