How can you make a difference? 

Le but de la consultation est de fournir un soutien technique à l’UNICEF pour une coordination et une mise en oeuvre efficaces des transferts sociaux monétaires et de l’ensemble des activités programmées par la section politiques sociales du bureau UNICEF Tunisie.

Les résultats attendus sont :

1) Renforcer l’équipe “Politiques sociales” de l’UNICEF en matière de suivi des activités et de mise en oeuvre des transferts sociaux monétaires, de leur suivi sur le terrain et de leur documentation ;

2) Faciliter l’organisation des réunions internes et avec les partenaires et des activités appuyées par l’UNICEF.

3) Appuyer l’UNICEF pour la mise en oeuvre des ateliers de formations et de renforcement des capacités des travailleurs sociaux

4) Assurer le suivi et l’évaluation de la mise en oeuvre des activités des projets de protection sociale et de la section politiques sociales dont la responsabilité revient à l’UNICEF.

5) Toutes autres taches demandées par l’équipe de supervision

To qualify as an advocate for every child you will have… 

Diplôme universitaire : Licence ou Master en sociologie, économie, sciences sociales, travail social ou autre discipline pertinente ;

Une année d’expérience professionnelle, ceci peut inclure des stages, dans le domaine des politiques sociales ou en protection sociale

Capacités d’analyse et de coordination confirmées

Capacités rédactionnelles confirmées (notes de synthèse, rapports d’évaluation…)

Une expérience avec une agence des NU serait un plus

Maîtrise de l’arabe et du français

Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and advance to the next stage of the selection process. 

Individuals engaged under a consultancy or individual contract will not be considered “staff members” under the Staff Regulations and Rules of the United Nations and UNICEF’s policies and procedures, and will not be entitled to benefits provided therein (such as leave entitlements and medical insurance coverage). Their conditions of service will be governed by their contract and the General Conditions of Contracts for the Services of Consultants and Individual Contractors. Consultants and individual contractors are responsible for determining their tax liabilities and for the payment of any taxes and/or duties, in accordance with local or other applicable laws. 

The selected candidate is solely responsible to ensure that the visa (applicable) and health insurance required to perform the duties of the contract are valid for the entire period of the contract. Selected candidates are subject to confirmation of fully-vaccinated status against SARS-CoV-2 (Covid-19) with a World Health Organization (WHO)-endorsed vaccine, which must be met prior to taking up the assignment. It does not apply to consultants who will work remotely and are not expected to work on or visit UNICEF premises, programme delivery locations or directly interact with communities UNICEF works with, nor to travel to perform functions for UNICEF for the duration of their consultancy contracts.
