METHODOLOGY
The three consultants will play a leading role in ensuring that UNICEF intervention related to winterization package are duly implemented in greater Cairo and northern coast governorates through providing technical support, coaching and undertake ongoing monitoring tasks.
The three consultants will provide coaching and technical support to implementing partner for reaching out the targeted groups and provide a report in a monthly and quarterly basis.
The three consultants will support the implementation and monitoring of the capacity building plan for youth community volunteers.
ACTIVITIES, DELIVERABLES AND TIMELINES, PLUS BUDGET PER DELIVERABLE
Task description
Under the direct supervision of the Child Protection Specialist, the children on the move consultants will undertake the following tasks:

Monitor the distribution of winterization items to 73,000 vulnerable children in greater Cairo and northern coast governorates.
  • Regular reports in distbuation’s status include number of children digreggated into boys and girls , nationalities and age groups.
Monitor and follow all interventions for training 5,000 adolescents boys and girls on life skill on core protection.
  • 80 % of participants enhance understanding on child protection.
Representing UNICEF in all coordinating with key stakeholders from governmental entities, UN agencies and civil society.
  • Minutes of meetings produced to enhance coordination with other stakeholders to support the most vulnerable children in targeted period.

QUALIFICATIONS, SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
Education Required Degree:Bachelor’s degree.
Education – Additional Comments: international relations, social work, sociology, political science, law, etc.
Required Experience: 0-3 years.
Experience Description: working in humanitarian and/or development field; expertise on child protection, human and child rights is an asset.
Language Skills:
English: Mandatory.
Arabic: Mandatory.
CONDITIONS OF WORK
The consultants will be working on a full-time basis (21 days per month) based in the targeted governorates greater Cairo, Alexandria and Damietta with frequent visits and travels to the field (as needed).
Monthly rate for consultant including transportations and communication costs.

-Fee for services to be provided based on the deliverables in the Terms of Reference.
