Consultancy to undertake refurbishment of the current CHL location at the National Council of Childhood and Motherhood Premises-Nationals Only(6 months).

METHODOLOGY
 The selection process will be done through several steps as following will:
Advertisement (FIVE DAYS): Interested contractors to submit  » A letter of interest « along with an updated CV to UNICEF within one week from the advertisement.
First screening (THREE DAYS): UNICEF to select three contractors (based on CVs and Previous experience) and to invite them to perform a site survey to the current child help line center and provide all needed information.
Detailed offer (THREE DAYS): The three contractors to submit detailed offers that should include the following:
A design (sketch) of the site which must be able to provide privacy and convenience for operators to receive and manage calls based on side survey and information provided.
proposed budget for the civil and electromechanical work.
List of quantities for all the items in the interior design scope, all specifications and installation methods and materials to be approved by UNICEF and NCCM before the start of implementation.
Letter of commitment to ensure that implementation of deliverables will be completed within six weeks from the date of signing the contract.
Contracting with the selected contractor (ONE DAY): UNICEF to invite the selected contactor to sign an official contract including all details and conditions based on selected offer.
Handing the place over: NCCM will hand over the center to the contractor once the contract is signed.
Monitoring and following up the implementation (SIX WEEKS ):the implementation will be under the direct supervision of the National Council for Motherhood and Childhood – NCCM and the United Nations Children’s Fund (UNICEF).
Payments: The payment will be scheduled according to the below deliverables.

QUALIFICATIONS, SPECIALIZED EXPERIENCE AND ADDITIONAL COMPETENCIES
Qualified experienced contractors to carry out the scope of work mentioned above in a timely manner to meet UNICEF and NCCM deadlines before 30/4/2019.
NOTE FOR CONSULTANTS AND INDIVIDUAL CONTRACTORS:
Please submit a financial offer along with your proposal, which contains the following information:
-Fee for services to be provided based on the deliverables in the Terms of Reference.
UNICEF has a zero-tolerance policy on conduct that is incompatible with the aims and objectives of the United Nations, including sexual exploitation and abuse, sexual harassment, abuse of authority and discrimination. UNICEF also adheres to strict child safeguarding principles. All selected candidates will, therefore, undergo rigorous reference and background checks, and will be expected to adhere to these standards and principles.
Remarks: Only shortlisted candidates will be contacted and advance to the next stage of the selection process.
