TINTA recruits 01 Polyvalent Operations, Administration and Logistics Officer
TINTA (The Invisible Thread) is a global facilitation platform dedicated to strengthening the efforts of Indigenous Peoples, Afro-descendant peoples, and community-based organizations in protecting nature, defending rights, and advancing climate justice. TINTA supports learning, collaboration, visibility, and advocacy processes at local, regional, and international levels, with a strong emphasis on territorial approaches and leadership from the tropical regions and high-biodiverse marine zones.
To strengthen operational, administrative, and logistical capacity, TINTA is recruiting a Polyvalent Operations, Administration and Logistics Officer to support the area’s activities, ensuring smooth operations and high-quality support and event delivery.
- Purpose of the Position
The Polyvalent Officer will provide operational, administrative, and logistical support across the Events Production and Language Support area. The role is crucial to maintaining efficiency, coordination, and high-quality delivery of events, meetings, and related activities.
Operations & Logistics
- Coordinate logistical arrangements for physical and online events, including venues, accommodation, travel, and transportation for participants and staff.
- Manage on-site and virtual event operations, including setup, technical support, and coordination with service providers.
- Prepare and maintain operational checklists, timelines, and contingency plans for all events.
Administration
- Provide administrative support to the Events Production and Language Support area, including correspondence, scheduling, document management, and reporting.
- Prepare and track budgets for events and operational activities, ensuring compliance with organizational policies.
- Maintain accurate records of contracts, invoices, and agreements with partners, allies, and service providers (e.g., MoUs, service contracts).
- Process invoices for TINTA’s network of interpreters, translators, and allied organizations.
- Adopt and maintain digital tools to streamline scheduling, payments, and service management.
Language Support
- Assist in coordinating linguistic support for events, including scheduling, budget tracking, and liaison with interpreters and translators.
- Ensure timely and high-quality delivery of interpretation and translation services.
- Maintain detailed records of all interpretation and translation assignments for accurate invoicing and reporting.
Team Collaboration
- Work closely with the Manager and other officers in planning, executing, and monitoring the support and events.
- Assist in improving internal processes, ensuring efficient workflows and communication.
- Collect and communicate MEL indicators.
Expériences / Formation
Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Administration, Logistics, Project Management, or related field.
- 1-3 years of experience in operations, administration, or logistics support, preferably in multicultural, international, or multilingual environments.
- Excellent organizational, planning, and time management skills.
- Strong communication skills in English, Spanish; knowledge of additional specially French is an asset.
- Proficiency in MS Office, Google Workspace, and event management tools.
- Located within ±2 hours of Central European Time (CET).
Desirable:
- Knowledge of French/European accounting standards and regulations
- Experience in international event coordination, conference services, or NGO/CSO administration.
- Familiarity with language support services (interpretation, translation) and working with multilingual teams.
- Ability to adapt to dynamic, high-pressure environments with multiple priorities.

Salaire
- Contract type: Consultancy Contract
- Start: 1th April 2026
- Duration: 6 months, with possibility of renewal until December 31th and yearly renewal
- Working Hours: Estimated 5 days week / 35 Hours / week. This position needs flexibility and ability to work under tight deadlines and adapt to changing circumstances.
- Fee range: Professional fees at TINTA are determined based on internal pay policies, which take into account responsibility, equity and experience considerations and budget availability. For this position, the full-time consultancy fee ranges: for someone based in the Global South it is from 28 560€ to 38 640€ per year; for someone based in the Global North it is from 42 840€ to 57 960€ per year.

You are responsible for organizing a 3-day territorial exchange (and 5 including travel) in Brasilia, Brasil for 20 participants coming from different countries from Latin-America. Interpretation Portuguese-Spanish will be needed.
Please, prepare a full budget and describe each component. The budget should at least include, travel, venue, accommodation, meals, interpretation costs.
