Johannesburg, GautengReference Number: 495 1406 MHU Job Description:Our client is a leading OEM who require a Technical Support Manager to be based at Head Office in Johannesburg. This is a senior management role with core duties including: to provide technical support per product line, introduction of new products, ongoing information regarding product performance and recommendations to improve performance, ownership of product line market share and to develop effective sales strategy per product line. Maintain link between product area and sales area. Responsibilities:Increase profitability by coaching Business Unit Managers and Area Managers in managing customer performance and/or cost per metre contractsConduct competitor monitoring and analysis of the competitive landscape for all product portfolios in the product line.Provide strategic oversight of all product portfolios in the product line.Set the overall development priorities for the product line.Develop and communicate customer value proposition for product line portfolio.Analyse and set GGP targets correcting deviations when necessary.Ensure all the product portfolios include the lifecycle perspective.Sponsor new product development.Define and size market segments including gap analysis for the product line Requirements: Qualification and SkillGrade 12/N3 Technical QualificationDegree/Diploma in EngineeringEnglish proficiencyAt least 5 years Sales experience in a mining environmentAt least 5 years Rock Tools experienceAt least 5 years Operational mining experienceAt least 5 years senior management experienceComputer literatePhysical & medical ability to function in an underground mining environmentWilling to travel extensivelyValid driver’s license Benefits and Contractual information:Permanent role
