MEAL AND KNOWLEDGE MANAGER ( NATIONAL AND INTERNATIONAL )
The OpportunityThe MEAL and Knowledge Manager will work closely with the in-country MEAL Officers, and in-country technical advisors, as well as members of the Technical Advisory Group (with members from the two regional offices, SCI’s global Migration and Displacement Unit and SC Switzerland). He/She will be engaging with external consultants as needed and will ensure that best practices and learnings are collected in a systemic manner to be disseminated across the three countries, to SC Switzerland, as well as to SDC and other key national and regional stakeholders. This position will also ensure that accountability mechanisms are in place and in use at the field level in all countries.

In order to be successful you will bring/have: 
EssentialMaster’s Degree in statistics, humanitarian management, social sciences, or related fields
Minimum of eight years’ experience and demonstrated practical skills in monitoring, evaluation, and researchDemonstrated knowledge and experience with major evaluation methodologies (e.g., qualitative, quantitative, mixed-method, and impact), data collection and analysis methodologiesExperience developing and refining innovative and proven data collection tools tailored for specific humanitarian/development contextsExperience in planning and performance measurement, including indicators selection, targets setting, reporting, database management, and developing monitoring and evaluation and/or performance monitoring plansExperience of working (research and MEAL related work) with migrant children and adolescents  Excellent written and spoken EnglishA flexible and initiative-taking, proactive, inspiring attitude with the ability to manage and prioritize an unpredictable workloadSolid computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SPSS)A commitment to the values and principles of Save the Children
Desired:Previous experience with SDC-funded programs
Solid knowledge regarding refugee, asylum-seeking, and migrant children-related topicsExperience with remote managementPrevious experience in the East Africa regionFluency in Arabic would be an advantageWe offer a competitive package in the context of the sector, this role is offered on the basis of national terms and conditions only.
