Votre rôleStudy CS and PS core Roadmaps and identify all the new features and technologies that can be of interest to Orange Egypt.Study the transmission and data network roadmap and evolution.Lead studies for different backhauling transmission strategies and its feasibility in Orange Egypt networkStudy the gain and impact of introducing new core technologies/features to the network and effect on end user.Study all transport features and identify the features that can bring saving or enhance performance.Study and test the IMS features that should enhance the network performance and improve user experience with IMS services (VoLTE,VoWifi,..).Study the impact of fixed and mobile core and transport convergence and the associated features to smooth this convergenceManage introducing and validating new core and transport technologies and features.Ensure lab and field trials for the validation of new core and transport technologies are done to group standards and fulfil all validation criteria.Evaluate different vendors solutions and recommend the best solution to be deployed based on lab and field trialsProvide technical evaluation to other teams and higher management for the tested features with a clear recommendation whether to be deployed or not.Provide clear recommendations and guidance for other teams regarding the new planned transport and core features that should be considered in the budget of the coming years.Lead the troubleshooting of any critical unusual issues that are raised during any of the core and transport new trials.Conduct business cases to help higher managers’ decision making for introducing new core and transport technologies and features.Find out new methods & techniques for improving the network Quality and costInterface with Orange NAD and skill center teams to align Orange core and transport development plans with that of the group.Interface with different technology teams (Transmission, data networks, Core engineering, RAN engineering, Optimization,..)for introducing new technologies/features.Interface with core and transport suppliers for planning for the design and implementation of the pilot phase of the new feature/technology/release in lab and field.Manage core and transport development projects of high impact on network in terms of performance or cost savings.

ExperienceMinimum 4 years of experience in GSM/UMTS/LTE mobile networkExperience in CS and PS core signaling and architectureExperience in data networks and transmissionGood knowledge of IMS

Leading the transport and core development for fixed and mobile networks. Introduce new technologies, features and software to core and transport networks and ensure their validation before their wide deployment in the network. Participate and contribute in defining Orange Egypt interest in new core and transport technologies based on Orange group and Supplier roadmaps. Report and present technical evaluation (performance, quality, added value), business cases and solid recommendation for higher management.
