Purpose of the job
The purpose of this JOB is to lead a team of 15 door-to-door agents responsible for direct acquisitions of new SME customers and thereby contributing to the overall SME revenues.
Duties and responsibilities
Build and develop a team of 15 direct acquisition agents.
Create/develop monthly sales plan for his territory that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
Share and monitor team KPIs and targets inline. Assists in the development and implementation of sales management/marketing plans as needed.
Drive the sales to achieve set service, product and revenue targets and thereby achieve SME quarterly and annually targets. Grow our SME market share. Work closely with SME marketing team to ensure proper product launches.
Build and develop excellent relationships with internal & external stakeholders such as other channels, Talent Acquisition, Learning & Development, Back office, IT, facilities, Finance to ensure timely delivery of their support and ensure adherence to the SLAs.
Follow the team reporting system to ensure the timely/periodic monitoring of performance.
Adhere to all company policies, procedures and business ethics codes and ensures that they are communicated and implemented within the team.
Minimum 6-9 years experience of working in a sales role within a telecom or telecoms related direct channel with a proven track record of success.
University degree, preferable in business.
Knowledge & Skills:
Detailed understanding and experience of channel sales process & implementing.
Ability to network within a customer organization to identify key influencers and decision makers, demonstrable experience selling telecoms services and solutions.
Sound understanding of IP and Telecoms Industry
