Purpose of the job:
Responsible for reporting periodically the company’s commercial performance and ensuring integrity of reported data by validating and reviewing all reports produced by the Corporate Reporting team.
Duties and responsibilities:
Designs, implements and maintains a process to capture the company’s Key Performance Indicators: Subscribers, Traffic, Revenues, ARPU, AUPU, Services Unique Users, Etc. and all other commercial KPIs segmented by line of business/customer profile/per product/per service.
Manages the Corporate Reporting process and the team to deliver reports on daily, weekly, monthly basis to the CEO, Senior Management, Commercial and Finance departments, Magnitude (Orange Group Reporting System), Telecom Regulatory bodies (NTRA & MCIT), in accordance with the Orange Group and the International/local telecom industry standards.
Manages the preparation of the CEO weekly presentation-dashboard and monthly Revenue Pack, which effectively allows top management to respond timely to the changing market conditions and dynamics.
Lead the corporate reporting calendar/deliverable ensuring the timely delivery of corporate-level reports and analyses.
Identifies discrepancies and takes corrective actions with other departments to resolve them.
Works closely with Commercial and Information Technology (specifically DWH) stakeholders to ensure that the company’s KPIs are accurately reported, new services/customer profiles are well and timely captured, all significant technical incidents which may impact reporting are investigated and reported timely.
Manages, undertakes and contributes to special analyses, ad-hoc reporting and investigations of key business trends and variations, both independently and in response to specific requests from Group, Senior Management and Commercial Stakeholders.
Liaises with Commercial stakeholders and Finance Commercial Decision Support to provide an in-depth weekly/monthly analysis on the actual commercial performance vs. the budget to identify the gaps covering all market segments and the reasons behind those gaps.
Establishes a strong partnership, develops strong collaborative working relationships and coordinates with other stakeholders across the team, business, as well as Group Controlling.
Ensures maintaining highest level of confidentiality.
People Management:
Interview and select direct reports and validate hiring decisions for the department.
Provide coaching and request needed training for direct reports ensuring continuous individual development.
Ensure a healthy working environment for the department employees through focusing on team building and motivation initiatives.
Conduct regular performance and competency evaluations for direct reports while delivering constant constructive feedback for higher achievements and further development.
Follow up on team members’ attendance, time sheets and leaves.
Education & Experience:
Bachelors Degree in Economics, Business, Finance or Engineering.
7+ years of relevant experience (Telecom experience is a must).
