BMC Atrium/CMDB Day to day responsibilities :Support the tooling stack to ensure it is maintained and in vendor supportDiscovery and CMDB monitoringDiscovery and CMDB troubleshootingDiscovery and CMDB housekeepingConfiguration management, data quality review, license utilization reviewProvide application team support to collate target application detail for finger printingReview application models for accuracyExperience managing an enterprise deployment of BMC Discovery/ADDMExperience managing an enterprise deployment of BMC Atrium/CMDBDelivers and customizes technical presentations on BMC productsExplains product capabilities, limitations and implementationDescribes technical tradeoffs and implementation alternativesIdentifies and develops innovative solutions to customer requirementsIdentifies and resolves technical and business problems with the trial. Makes recommendations to terminate trials when necessaryProvides demonstrations and presentations for BMC. Performs necessary equipment set-up and installationInstalls solutions at client sites as part of proof of concept or pilot Votre profilEducational Background :
Computer, Communication or Electronics MIS, B.Sc. or B.Eng. DegreeSoft Skill / Business Courses & Certification (time management, negotiation/communication skills…) are recommended
Professional Experience :
At least 2 years of professional and hands on experience in BMC Discovery/ADDM*
Technical Experience :
Recent strong experience in managing an enterprise deployment of BMC Discovery/ADDMRecent strong experience in managing an enterprise deployment of BMC Atrium/CMDBPlatforms: Linux, Unix and Windows.Configuration management : AnsibleScripting: Bash, PowerShellCI/CD tools: Jenkins, GitlabVirtualization/Cloud: VMware , OpenstackNetwork/Infrastructure: TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VPNStorage : LVM, RAID, NFS, CephData visualization tools: Grafana, Kibana, Wavefront
