Mission: This position sits within the Training Unit of MSF Operational Center Paris (OCP) and is under the responsibility of the Training Coordinator hierarchically and the Head of the Medical Unit in Sydney, Australia functionally. This position is responsible for the organization of all trainings related to Women and Children’s Health and Care for Victims of Sexual Violence (WCH & SV) including MSF OCP specific trainings, as well as to MSF intersectional trainings. The WCH & SV Training Officer ensures the implementation of field training according to the training policy set by the Head of the Training Department. They coordinate the preparation, implementation, and follow-up of field training sessions. Activities and tasks General tasks: The training officer is the focal point responsible for coordination of the identification of needs, planning, timely enrollment, smooth preparation, execution of all aspects of training courses in women’s health, SV and pediatrics/newborn care: 1/ Training organization and follow-up: – Plans and coordinates administration and logistics to ensure timely and fluid training execution for on and offsite trainings. – Implements administrative procedures such as: contracts, travel arrangements (flights/visa/accommodation) for trainers and, where relevant (offsite), for trainees. – Liaises with the field to ensure adequate and timely planning and logistics of course sessions. – Sends training material/equipment to relevant training sites and ensures their return in a timely manner. – Ensures the scheduling, administration and briefing of trainers. – Provides oversight of the administrative and logistic organization of training sessions. – Manages all training materials and tools. – Collects course data and maintains course management system and database. – Conducts budget follow up. 2/ Participates in developing training plans: – Coordinates with the cells and fields to identify the training needs and requests, – Establishes clear planning for delivery of respective training sessions, – In collaboration with the Field Training Coordinator and field coordination, plans the training sessions calendar for the year, – Participates in the preparation of the annual estimated budget of the proposed courses, works in collaboration with operations, identifies needs and validates training requests, – Ensures good communication with managers and participants: informs and answers questions about the training’s content and format. 3/ Definition of procedures & implementation: – is the focal point for all parties involved (ops/HR/med /admin) for policies and procedures related to the running of onsite and offsite trainings[1] – Reflects and reports on the existing process – Participates in the creation of new policies and procedures related to the implementation of trainings – Shares the new procedures with all actors upon approval, and is the focal point for their implementation, revision and follow-up [1] Def: Onsite : all training sessions in a given field project vs offsite: regional and HQ trainings |

Salary conditions: 38,7K€ gross annual over 13 months. 22 days RTT per year. Complementary health supported 100% by Médecins Sans Frontières. Meal vouchers of 9€ (60% reimbursed by Médecins Sans Frontières). Support for 50% of the public transport subscription. |
