KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:

Develop innovative and realistic logistics solutions that meet the customer’s requirements in terms of cost and performance in line with Maersk global strategy. These solutions comprise of warehouse layout, labor planning and material handling requirements, incl. automated material handling.

Design logistics solutions – from creation to implementation through auditing the entire value chain and increasing its efficiency by quickly and accurately proposing solutions to clients’ requirements.

Perform network analysis and design your solutions for clients by using best-in-class tools available in Maersk.

Work closely with the sales teams to support them on technical issues, and to take part in offer presentations.

Manage projects on a global scale and with all departments whiles updating and submitting businesses cases to the various committees for approval.

SKILLS AND COMPETENCIES REQUIRED:

Structured and process oriented with a balance between project management, fact-based analysis, and commercial acumen

Proven experience in project management principles, practices, and tools

Highly collaborative with ability to lead cross functional and remote project teams both locally and internationally

Effective communicator, proficient in stakeholder management with proven capability to build buy-in and excitement in a matrix organization structure

Analytical and customer centric mindset with proven capability of translating complex requirements into tangible solutions

Competent in creating and building written business proposals translating customer requirements in structured value propositions

Extensive knowledge of complex end to end logistics & services concepts

10+ years’ experience in international sales, account management or supply chain management function

Good proficiency level in spoken and written English, and French is required.
