Key responsibilities
You will be expected to:• Solve problems in a structured and analytical manner.• Support tactical negotiations across Feeder, L&S, Husbanding, Vessel Security and Port Expense categories across Sub-Saharan Africa.• Provide in-depth analytical support and contribute towards driving behavioral cost down through negotiations and positively impact unit cost savings.• Contribute towards game plan savings and project pipeline building.• Manage internal and external stakeholder relations and support with the roll out of structured supplier relationship management.• Manage your own work module independently, while being part of a team.
We are looking for
Someone with the following:• Bachelor’s degree or honors degree preferably in Logistics or Supply Chain Management.• At least 2-3 years experience in an analytical role preferably within a multinational environment.• Ability to engage with suppliers and internal stakeholders and build meaningful relationships in order to grow the ocean and L&S landscape.• Strong experience in running sourcing tenders in Coupa, Ariba or other e-sourcing platforms.• Strategic mind-set and an ability to create seamless and creative solutions to challenging goals• Strong personal impact with excellent communication and interpersonal skills• Results driven and action orientated individual.POSTULER
