We are currently looking for an Inland Operations Coordinator to be part of our Delivery Team, based in Walvis Bay, Namibia. If you have what it takes and want to be part of our family, this might be the right time for you!

Key responsibilities
-The main responsibility is to execute all Intermodal requirements on behalf of Customer Service, LOC and National equipment this may include 3rd party interaction.
-To collect, collate, print and distribute TBL documentation to facilitate TBL transit clearance ensuring consignee border clearance agent is stated and the port release documentation is printed, signed and stamped and vendors are aware of any specific requirements pertaining to TBL shipments.
-To ensure daily tracking is received and this information is distributed to Hinterland Customer Services and provide daily a schedule of all containers uplifted during the prior period.
-To ensure METS+ updated as per required standard, and reconcile METS+ daily. All queries to be resolved within agreed timeline.
-To adhere to local government and internal regulation regarding IMO, OOG and overweight containers and ensure additional charges as applicable are recorded in METS+ and are recovered.
-To attend daily Operations meetings where preparation includes reconciling TBLs in port to document receipt, Transit clearance status, loading plans and monitoring in-transit loads noting issues on the road and updating any additional costs to ensure Customer Service recovers all such costs.
-To provide and facilitate the link between vendors and GSC to ensure payment terms are followed and vendor accounts are maintained in good order.
-Equipment management within Namibia to ensure we always have sufficient equipment to cover expected exports.
-Be entrepreneurial towards the new offerings from Maersk where we will offer multiple new services to our customers (Warehousing, Customs house Brokerage etc.).
