Are you detailed-oriented, analytical and looking for a new challenge with a truly global company? This might be the right opportunity for you! We are looking for a new Finance Operations Agent to join our Finops team in Durban.

The purpose of the role is to ensure delivery of Maersk’s value to its Customer segments through consistent on time and correct invoicing, working closely with internal stakeholders, customers and vendors to ensure we meet customer and business expectations.

Key Responsibilities:

Ensure timely and accurate job costing done for specific clients.

Create and maintain vendors in financial system.

Correctness and timeliness of posting supplier invoices.

Inter-company billing – maintain and control disputes.

To identify and initiate improvement areas in close cooperation with colleagues.

Process and validate workflows (incoming invoices) daily.

Work closely with business control to ensure the systems work for us to keep processes lean and clean.

Preparing of certain controls to promote control and compliance awareness across teams.

Coordination with internal and external stakeholders to achieve required delivery to customers.

Accurate and timely reporting.

Close collaboration with local and offshore teams to deliver on KPIs.

Supply Chain Management or Freight Forwarding Experience is a plus.
