LP4Y- LIFE PROJECT 4 YOUTH
Life Project 4 Youth is an international movement of 19 organizations in 14 countries whose mission is the development of innovative solutions for the professional and social inclusion of Young people (15-24 yo) from extreme poverty and victims of exclusion.
LP4Y supports the decent inclusion of thousands of Young people and their families in 57 programs, 20 Training & Development Centers, 6 Little Angel Academies, 6 Green Villages, 2 LP4Y Labs in South East Asia, South Asia, Middle East, Europe and America.
Over the past 13 years LP4Y has created solutions, always close to slum areas in large cities such as Manila, Cebu, Iligan, Cagayan de Oro, Calauan, Jakarta, Surabaya, New-Delhi, Kolkata, Mumbai, Bengaluru, Raipur, Chennai, Kathmandu, Yangon, Dhaka, Beirut and Cairo. Currently, we are 140 Catalysts in Asia and the Middle East working with Young Adults contributing to the development of their country. Since 2009, 5,849 Young Adults have been accompanied to the professional world.

Digital support
Contract : VSI – Volontariat de Solidarité Internationale
Possible location : India, Philippines, Lebanon, Bangladesh, Myanmar, Nepal, Indonesia, Egypt
LP4Y relies strongly on digital for supporting the youth and including them in the society. Each center is equipped with a computer room used daily by the beneficiaries for learning purposes and for finding a job. LP4Y also relies a lot on digital for its internal functioning : Google Workspaces (Drive, Gmail, Meet, Sheets, Docs and Slides), Zoom, etc.
LP4Y would like to strengthen its digital team by recruiting an extra member who will work co-jointly with the existing digital administrator.
The responsibilities of the Digital support are :
- Manage LP4Y’s e-learning platform and improve its content with the help of the project leaders pedagogy and partners
- Contribute to the migration to Google Shared Drive
- Structuring account and access management in Google Workspace
- Deploy new solutions (e.g. password management solution)
- Support LP4Y volunteers and youth on the use of digital tools
Qualities needed :
- Desire to contribute to a social project, to discover a new culture and to be on the field
- Desire to leverage digital tools to help youth victim of exclusion and to simply the work of your coworkers
- Capacity to adapt, learn something new and patience
- Ability to work in English
Conditions
- Accommodation and basic food will be provided
- Transportation and visa fees covered
- Health insurance + contribution to the french retirement system
- Basic stipend of 200 euros / month
- 24 days of holidays + 1 long week-end every 3 month
At least 2 years of engagement through local contracts or volunteering contracts for international Catalysts (such as VSI or French Civique Service).

Expériences / Formation
MISSION – VSI (Volontariat de Solidarité International)
The minimum duration of this mission is 13 month (renewable), and will appeal to candidates who are ready to learn and passionate about intercultural cooperation, having already acquired previous professional experience.
Successful candidates will be open, dynamic and enterprising, and looking for an opportunity to develop their character and skills in a multi-cultural context. They will also enjoy communicating with humor, enthusiasm and will be keen team players, committed to making a real difference in the field. Fluent English is required.
