DESCRIPTION DU PROGRAMME

The EDHEC-Risk Institute EDHEC-Risk Institute Asia-Pacific Doctoral Scholarships are open to nationals of countries and territories in the Asia-Pacific region who wish to pursue the EDHEC-Risk Institute PhD in Finance. Scholarships are available for both the executive and residential tracks of the programme delivered at EDHEC Risk Institute–Asia in Singapore.
Outstanding professional scheme
Under the outstanding professional scheme, EDHEC Business School funds selected participants in the executive track of the Asian chapter of the EDHEC-Risk Institute PhD in Finance up to a level of 50% of their tuition fees (i.e. SGD31,500 per annum over three years). The scheme is intended for practitioners who can demonstrate outstanding academic and/or professional achievements. As other participants in the executive track of the EDHEC-Risk Institute PhD in Finance, outstanding professional scheme scholars are high-level practitioners who join the programme without interrupting their careers.
Up to seven half-tuition scholarships will be awarded per year. Excellent candidates that fail to qualify for half-tuition scholarship may be offered lower partial-tuition scholarships.

Residential track scheme
EDHEC will recruit up to two residential track participants for the Asian chapter of the EDHEC-Risk PhD in Finance. Residential track participants will work as research assistants at EDHEC Risk Institute–Asia in Singapore 3 days a week. In return for their part-time duties, residential track participants will receive full-tuition waiver plus a stipend linked to their professional and academic credentials. The stipend is SGD3,000 per month for research assistants and SGD3,500 for senior research assistants. The scheme is intended for professionals who are interested in pursuing full-time careers in research institutions. All nationals of Asia-Pacific countries and territories are eligible to the residential track scheme.
