Zambia, ZambiaReference Number: 163-2206LH Job Description:Our client is an experienced Shotfirer from the mining industry to join their team on site in Zambia. Responsibilities:Carrying out of loading, tying and firing tasks.Liaising with Bench Team and MMU Operators to execute bulk explosives delivery according to safety and environmental standards.Ensure services are carried out in accordance to client requirements to achieve production targets.Accident and incident reporting.Instilling a strong safety culture in line with the company’s regulations.Ensuring team members are up to date on required training.Overseeing waste minimization and control.Ensure raw materials and dangerous goods are stored and used according to legal and company requirements.Continuous improvement initiatives. Requirements: Qualification and SkillShotfirers license.S1, S2 and S3.Dangerous goods certification.5 years previous experience as a Shotfirer within the mining industry.Experience as a Magazine Keeper.Sound understanding of blasting safety standards.Zambian nationals are encouraged to apply.
