Zambia, ZambiaReference Number: 158-2206LH Job Description:Our client is in search of an SHES Administrator from a blasting background in the mining industry to join their team on site in Zambia. Responsibilities:Regional implementation of the company’s Safety Standards.Engaging with SHES Business Partners and regional Safety Leads and Specialists to develop, implement and ensure standards are maintained according to the Safety Plan.Continuous improvement initiatives.Stakeholder engagement to ensure buy in from all parties regarding the company’s values and strategy.Provide technical support.Provide input to support the planning of risk management and controls, systems and standards, investigations and governance.Analysis of performance data to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.Provide rollout packages to enable structured and consistent regional implementation of safety improvements. Requirements: Qualification and SkillRelevant Degree.7 years previous experience in SHES within mining environments, with a particular focus on blasting.5 years’ experience in a client facing role as a mining services contractor.Sound understanding of drill and blast safety standards.Zambian nationals are encouraged to apply.
