Bayon School recruits 01 Fundraising & Communications Officer
Bayon School is the result of a partnership between the French NGO SEP du Bayon, which provides support, and Bayon Education & Development (BED), a Cambodian NGO registered with the Ministry of Interior of the Kingdom of Cambodia under number 538 (March 23, 2015).
About Bayon Education and Development (BED)
Headquartered in Siem Reap, BED works to empower poor and vulnerable populations – particularly children, youth, and women – through access to quality education, vocational training, and sustainable livelihood opportunities.
Since 1997, BED has supported more than 1,500 children and youth from kindergarten to university. Since 2015, 237 disadvantaged young people (including 205 women) have benefited from professional training and career integration programs, notably in bakery & pastry and agroecology. BED’s 2026–2030 Strategic Plan aligns with Cambodia’s Education Strategic Plan (2024–2028) and contributes directly to SDG* 4: Quality Education, while also advancing SDG* 1 (No Poverty), SDG* 3 (Good Health), SDG* 5 (Gender Equality), and SDG* 13 (Climate Action).

Expériences / Formation
Education & Experience
- Degree in fundraising, communications, development studies, business administration, project management, or related field.
- Minimum 2 years of relevant professional experience in fundraising, communications, partnership management, or related field.
- Experience with donor management or CRM systems is highly desirable.
Skills & Competencies
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills in English and French (Khmer is a strong asset).
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines.
- Strong interpersonal skills and ability to engage diverse stakeholders.
- Analytical mindset with comfort working with data and Excel.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
- Proficiency in Canva; familiarity with CRM tools is an asset.
Salaire
Contract Conditions
- Unspecific Duration Contract (UDC) with a three-month probation period, based in Siem Reap.
- Working hours : 8 hours per day, 5 days a week. Overtime may be required for events or special circumstances.
- Benefits : group health and accident insurance, NSSF affiliation, seniority indemnity, and staff leave in accordance with Cambodian labor law.
