As an Offshore Service Delivery Manager (Production Chemist), you will provide expertise and technical support for our offshore chemical product lines. You will oversee and advise on product application, well prognosis, and completion product performance. You will take the lead for new product market introductions, development and field trials.
As an Offshore Service Delivery Manager (Production Chemist), you will be responsible for:
- Protecting the health and safety of personnel and the environment.
- Conducting all activities in line with our non-negotiables, applicable processes, and cultural pillars.
- Taking full ownership of technical support for O&IC across the country of Senegal.
- Working independently and safely with minimum supervision in accordance with established safety procedures and practices. Shall maintain good housekeeping at the work site.
- Coordinating and monitor all job activities as outlined.
- Leading technical recommendation and response offshore, includes both written response as well as any technical presentations.
- Being able to operate all the laboratory equipment necessary to complete the scope of work.
- Managing and distributing technical support across the country.
- Engaging with Headquarters on higher-level technical support as required.
- Implementing key business transformation initiatives
- Prioritizing and balance needs with resources.
- Training junior team members for higher level technical positions in accordance with talent development plan
- Coordinating/performing the collection/sampling of field oil, gas and water samples.
- Coordinating packing samples properly for shipping to an external laboratory as required.
- Being capable of meeting rigorous requirements for calibration, verification, and repeatability tests.
- Identifying problems and issues with sampling equipment and test results.
- Being on call as needed to support customers and team members.
- Being familiar with the assigned client’s process for MOC / escalation to ensure the proper process are followed.
Fuel your passion
To be successful in this role you will:
- Have at least a bachelor’s degree from an accredited university or college.
- Have at least 8 years oilfield chemistry applications experience
- Have at least 5 years’ experience in operational offshore management and/or service delivery.
- Have good technical knowledge in all three oilfield chemistry disciplines: flow assurance, production optimization, integrity management
- Be able to demonstrate project management skills.
- Be able develop influential customer relationships plans, presentations and proposals.
- Demonstrate good communication and interpersonal skills.
