Being part of the Largest Container Terminal in Egypt located in Portsaid, in addition of being part of a highly performing team.

Responsabilidades principais

-Responsible on Tax related issues (e.g., VAT, salaries tax, Withholding tax…etc,

-Ensure archiving of required documentation for different tax inspection and VAT refund.

-Timely preparation and filling of different tax returns and processing tax payments.

-Review monthly, quarterly and annual tax reports before submitting.

-Working closely with tax consultant on all tax aspects.

-Supporting on new projects from accounting and tax perspective.

-Preparation of the documents and analysis required for Tax Authority Inspection.

-Ensures that company are complied with the local Law and other rules and regulations applicable to the company and keep updated with all changes that occur from time to time.

-Manage the implementation of all aspects of the risk function, including implementation of processes, tools and systems to identify, assess, measure, manage, monitor and report risks and preparing risk register.

-Reviews Company’s accounting, financial, and other operations (both manual and computerized) to determine the adequacy and effectiveness of financial internal control systems and be sure that is in compliance with APMT control manual.

-Responsible for reporting control self-assessments.

-Responsible to follow up respective department managers to close open findings.

-Handling external Audit, Audit questionnaires and any Audit requirements.

-Responsible for handling Group Internal Audit (GIA) and other APMT audit assignment

-Ensure that all policies applied and followed by all departments, review updates and follow creating new ones.

-Assist in Global compliance risk assessment and follow up with any come up issues and to insure closing it

-Provide Sanction screening on SCCT’s customers and suppliers to ensure that SCCT is not deal with any sanctioned country, entity or individuals.

-Follow up on transactions and whistle blower system to ensure that SCCT acting with integrity regarding:

-Anti-corruption

-Interacting with government officials

-Working with third parties.

-Competition law and trade controls.

-Assist in getting official advices/ consultations from APMT compliance team in compliance issues.

-Requires a college degree in business or accounting, or related discipline.

-Qualified as a Chartered Accountant or Certified Public Accountant, or equivalent Tax certificate is preferred.

-Must have extensive knowledge of accounting principles and practices.

-Must be familiar with best practices in the professional field of accounting & audit.

-Requires a high level of planning and organizational skills.

-Requires effective interpersonal skills, especially the ability to listen and clarify.

-Requires verbal and written communications skills in English at the advanced level.

-Requires excellent analytical skills, including the ability to extract, compile and analyse data.

-Requires exceptional time management and organizational skills, due to fast-moving, demanding work environment.

-Must have excellent computer skills & proficiency.

-Must be able to exercise discretion and good judgment, with an ability to understand the effect of decisions overall in the company.

-Must be able to handle company information with confidentiality and discretion
