AGIAMONDO recrute 01 Coordinator of the CPS programme Sri Lanka (m/f/d)

AGIAMONDO is the personnel service of the German Catholics for Development Cooperation. In the Civil Peace Service (CPS) we offer development workers a meaningful role working with local development agents. The CPS is a personnel programme for peace-building and the prevention of violence in crisis and conflict regions. It sets out to promote a world in which conflicts are settled without violence. Working with church-related and civil-social partner organisations in Sri Lanka, AGIAMONDO aims to make a contribution towards civil conflict management and the sustainable and equitable development of the country through peace-building measures.

  • You will prepare project applications and the reporting to the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).
  • You will be responsible for the annual financial planning of the national programme and will manage the use of resources.
  • You will be responsible for public relations for CPS in Sri Lanka and support the CPS-related public relations of AGIAMONDO in Germany.

Your profile:

  • You have sound knowledge of organisational development as well as programme and project management, which also includes responsibility for large budgets.
  • You identify with the church profile of AGIAMONDO, convincingly support the goals and concerns of church development cooperation and you can act appropriately in a church context.
  • You speak very good German and English and are willing to learn the majority language Sinhala locally.
  • You are an EU or Swiss citizen and a member of a Christian church.
