Context: Myanmar – Yangon Length of contract: 12 months, starting on November the 15th, 2019. The position: In close collaboration with the Country Director, you will support the development of high quality funding proposals, reports, concept notes, external communications, including overseeing the proposal development and reporting processes. In addition, you will also support project cycle management across projects with a focus on donor compliance.
More specifically, you will be in charge of : Leading the optimization of grant and program management processes
Ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and regulations with regards to grants management and reporting
Leading all internal and external reporting processes
Ensuring effective coordination of program development processes
Ensuring effective coordination of programs integration
Ensuring coordination of partnership management
In aim to conduct successfully your missions, you will be travelling within Myanmar that may often require visiting and working in remote and low-resource environments.
The applicant: You hold a Master’s degree in fundraising, public relations, communications, development, humanitarian aid or international relations. You have a minimum of 3 years experience in an NGO, development fundraising from institutional donors (DfID, ECHO, EU, SIDA, SDC, CIAA) and in a multi-cultural environment. You are known for your capacity to work under pressure and your creativity. You have a proven ability to write clear and concise reports as well as meeting the deadlines of donors. Above all, you are willing to support others members of the team and to share workload. You speak and write English fluently as well as advanced command of Word and Excel (mandatory). Furthermore, you have strong representation and negotiation skills, experience in working in a consortium structure as well as being familiar with key the program areas (nutrition, health, WASH, Food Security and Livelihoods, DRR, Protection).
