Country: MYANMAR – Yangon

Length of contract: 12 months starting date from the 20th of September 2019.

This is a highly dynamic role, especially in light of the most recent developments in Rakhine State of Myanmar, where ACF has been implemeting its largest portion of the mission portfolio. ACF has a long-standing presence in Myanmar as one of the key nutrition actors, especially in Rakhine State. In other parts of the country ACF seeks to expand its programming into more MHCP focussed interventions and longer-term programs and in view of the newly interest of Ministry of Health and Sport in MHCP, there is an opportunity of technical support. This requires the candidate to be comfortable working across the humanitarian-development spectrum, taking a proactive approach to identifying program needs, constraints, and development opportunities.

The position:

Under the supervision of the Deputy Country Director, you will be responsible to Coordinate and supervise ACF MHCP and MHPSS programs in Myanmar, by insuring the quality of implementation and strategies.

More precisely you will be in charge of :

Mission 1: Develop, monitor and supervise the action on the field of MHCP

Mission 2: Define the MHCP country strategy and positioning, coordinate needs identification and the formulation of project proposals

Mission 3: Promote capitalization through research and collection of qualitative data.

Mission 4: Ensure the active participation of ACF in national sectorial coordination and technical forums, and develop sectorial partnerships

The applicant: You hold a master degree in psychology or psychiatry, and demonstrate both successful clinical and humanitarian field experiences in mental health and care practices in a similar position.

You are recognized for your capacity in training, coaching and capacity building of team members, you also have a strong experience in project management and organizational skills.

You are eager to work in intercultural, systemic, ethno psychiatric, anthropological field.

You have a relevant emergency or development experience in a humanitarian context.

Knowledge experience in Myanmar / South East Asia is a clear advantage.

English fluent is required and French is a plus.

Contract:12 months fixed term contract under French legislation

Remuneration and benefits :

· Monthly gross salary from 1805 € to 2305 € upon experience.

· Per diem and living allowance: 432 € (cf eurocost) net, field paid.

· + 16% of monthly gross salary as reimbursement of retirement insurance for non-French citizen.

· + Child allowance, limited to 5 children.

Transportation and accommodation:

· Coverage of transportation costs to and in the mission.

· Individual room in guesthouse covered (préciser si logement individuel)

Medical coverage:** 100% coverage of medical expenses + repatriation insurance.

Leaves and RnR:**

· 25 days of paid leaves per year.

· + 20 RnR per year.

· + 215 € at each RnR period).

· Coverage of the transportation expenses to the RnR area of reference.

Training :

· Free and unlimited access to the certifying e-learning platform Crossknowledge ©.

· Technical trainings at HQ or regional level (averagely 1 per year).

· Intermission Workshop once a year.

· Participation to external trainings costs upon eligibility of the request.
