WWF-India has launched the Conservation Catalyst Programme 2025

The WWF-India has launched the Conservation Catalyst Programme (CCP) to support grassroot conservationists and organisations to conserve wildlife and habitat, and helps awardees become more effective, structured and empowered.

WWF India’s Mission
  • To stop the degradation of the planet’s natural environment and build a future in which humans live in harmony with nature, by:
    • Conserving the world’s biological diversity
    • Ensuring that the use of renewable natural resources is sustainable
    • Promoting the reduction of pollution and wasteful consumption
  • In its mission to take forward the agenda of environmental protection, WWF Indiaworks with varied groups of individuals and institutions across different sections of society. These alliances strive to address the common goal of conserving biodiversity, sustainably using natural resources and maintaining ecosystems and ecosystem services for the survival of wildlife and people depending on them.
Funding Information
  • WWF-India will provide a small grant (up to 6 Lakh INR per year), and also mentor the awardees with communication, networking, institutional, fundraising and leadershipcapacities.
Eligibility Criteria
  • If you know or are an exceptional organisation/ individual that works at the grassroots to conserve lesser-known species and habitats, please use this form to make a nomination.
  • They are looking for people who believe in making a difference, for places and species that need it the most.
  • There will be an opportunity for CCP awardees to avail a repeat grant.
