WRS recruits 01 Procurement & Logistics Representative

WRS – Procurement & Logistics Representative – Senegal Project – 1st of December.

WRS is currently supporting a high-profile marine operation in Ndayane, Senegal, and we’re looking for a skilled Procurement & Logistics Representative to join the team on site.

Role Overview

This is a multifaceted position combining operational oversight with procurement and logistics coordination. The successful candidate will play a key role in supporting vessel operations across Africa.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide operational support across multiple vessels in the region
• Act swiftly in urgent procurement situations where safety, production, or vessel uptime is at risk
• Collaborate closely with the Technical Superintendent Engineer (TSE) to resolve critical issues
• Manage local procurement in Dakar, working with buyers and partners
• Coordinate international sourcing (e.g. spare parts from Finland), including airway bills, customs clearance etc.
• Ensure timely delivery of goods to vessels via local transport or international shipping
• Understand customs procedures and import codes

• Languages: Fluent French and English required for internal and operational communication.
• Location: On-site in Ndayane, Senegal
• Start Date: 1/12/2025
• End Date: 31/05/2026
• Duration: 6 months
