The WAR SC unit as part of its strategic steps to pursue excellence in various NOs has seen the need to recruit a coordinator to liaise with RSCMD to support coordination with the NOs and extract, analyze and provide several reports for the NO, RO and GC consumption on timely manner for management decision to improve on their KPIs performance while minimizing risk and improve efficiency.
Key Objectives:
Support WV CAR and WASH Base Funding projects in the region in terms of SCM processes and secondly support with the Implementation of key ProVision Performance Metrics process which include tracking and analyzing SCM Management Reports which should be consolidated from NO reports. Create and prioritize areas to be improved upon to drive Field Office supply chain management to enhance performance, communication, external SCM reports and engagements
Key Deliverables:
- Provide timely support to WV CAR SCM team(30%)
- Provide support to all FOs with WASH Base funding in terms of procurement and reports.
- Supporting WAR RSCMD in reviewing and consolidation of all periodic reports including response status updates.
- Collaborate with other specialists in various Regions to share best practices, and disseminate to the NOs.
- Supporting WAR RSCMD in reviewing of contracts and SCM related documents.
- Provide/facilitate trainings for NO SCM staff in liaison with RSCM Director when and where required in areas that require improvements
Job requirements
- University degree in Business Administration, Procurement or similar degree, or equivalent experience (intermediate CIPS)
- At least 2 years’ experience in Procurement or Supply Chain
Work Environment
The position requires ability and willingness to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time.
