Wave Senegal recruits 01 FP&A Analyst
In this role, you’ll:
- Collaborate across all levels of the organization by developing a deep understanding of Wave’s business model, including products and market strategies, competitive context, and internal processes
- Performs quantitative analysis of operational and financial data
- Builds and manages financial databases by organizing and analyzing a wide rage of data sources
- Prepares budget and forecast financial information
- Analyzing variances in financial results between actual, budget and prior month
- Builds and maintains corporate financial model that details the entire company’s operations and projects future performance based on the key drivers of the business
- Performs ad hoc analysis for senior management team

- Location: You’ll work from our office in Dakar.
- You must have work authorization in Senegal.
- This is a permanent position.
Requirements
- Expert Excel skills; extensive experience building three-statement financial models and analyzing large data sets
- Articulate verbal and written English communication skills; ability to distill complex analyses into structured outputs and present to all levels of management
- Highly organized, independent, and self-motivated
- Ability to think creatively and critically, and thrive in a dynamic and often ambiguous work environment
- Working knowledge of GAAP
- Bachelor’s degree in accounting, economics or finance
- SaaS or FinTech industry experience
- Intermediate Knowledge of SQL and strong prior experience
- Highest standards of accuracy and precision; highly organized.
- Ability to think creatively, highly-driven and self-motivated
- Demonstrated ability to roll-up sleeves and work with team members in a hands-on management capacity
Experience:
- Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting or Finance; MBA highly preferred
- 5+ years experience as Manager or Director of Financial Planning and Analysis
