WASABI: 2nd Open Call for Experiments

WASABI is launching its 2nd Open Call for experiments that will fund around 10 application experiments focused on the development and use of AI-based assistance for their processes or products.

WASABI project focuses on digital intelligent assistance solutions, based on human-AI collaboration, and applied to the manufacturing domain.

Objectives

• The objective is to attract applicants from all manufacturing sectors addressing advanced functionalities on the implementation of digital assistance solutions, such as:
  • Human machine interface for complex processes
  • Agile onboarding of new employees in complex manufacturing systems
  • Conversation AI facilitating data access in different thematic areas
  • Conversation guided maintenance operations

Funding Information

• The Open Call for experiment has a budget of EUR 1.522.250,00 to fund around 10 experiments.

Expected Duration of Participation

• 12 months

Task Description

• The tasks expected by the experiments include:
  • Develop a digital assistant to address a specific challenge in manufacturing
  • Create a WASABI shop to distribute the developed OVOS skill
  • Participation in the WASABI ecosystem
  • Collaboration with a (E)DIH included in the European DIH Map

Evaluation Process

• Each proposal will be evaluated by two evaluators against the following criteria:
  • Technical excellence
  • Impact
  • Implementation
