Location: Ngor Virage Dakar, Senegal (with potential for hybrid work)

Background
As Vox Agency rolls out its 2025–2030 Strategic Plan, we are entering a bold new phase of growth and creative influence across Africa’s evolving communications for development landscape. To amplify our visual storytelling capacity and ensure our campaigns drive real impact, we are seeking a Graphic Design specialist to join our team.
This is an opportunity to work at the heart of development communication—supporting change-making campaigns, digital advocacy, and social impact initiatives across the continent. Under the supervision of our Creative Lead, the selected intern will contribute to the production of high-quality visual assets that bring our stories to life.
Key responsibilities
- Support the design and layout of digital and print materials (social media assets, reports, infographics, toolkits, etc.)
- Develop storyboard design elements for motion design content such as animated videos, GIFs, reels, and explainers
- Contribute to the visual identity of campaigns and projects in alignment with client or projects brand guidelines
- Assist in editing photos, illustrations, and visual content for multi-channel use
- Collaborate with the communications and program teams to conceptualize visual assets that align with strategic messaging
- Help maintain a digital asset library and organize design files for ongoing use
Who we’re looking for?
- Recent graduate in Graphic Design, Motion Design, Visual Communication, or a related field
- Proficiency in design and animation tools (Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, InDesign, or equivalent)
- Knowledge in animation with After Effects, or video editing with Premiere Pro is a plus,
- A strong creative eye and attention to detail
- Ability to translate abstract ideas into compelling visual formats
- Interest in social impact, storytelling, and development issues in Africa
- Organized, curious, and comfortable working in a collaborative environment
