Job Purpose
To handle all bulk fuel off-loading and issuing during the day shift by managing staff, monitoring controls, maintaining good house-keeping and managing customers concerns appropriately within the laid down operations.
To manager a team of operators and drivers.
Sales reconciliation and invoicing stock records and reports (HSSE and Depot control procedures)
Ensure the back-up of the Depot Manger in his absence and handle other relief works as may be directed from time to time.
To keep all the depot equipment in a serviceable and safe for operations condition by following up the depot annual maintenance plan.
Principal Accountabilities
- Take a leading role in the management of HSSE in the plants
- Ensure HSSE compliance in all off-loading operations as per the HSSE MS and working procedures, do unsafe acts and PI production weekly.
- Verify and sign the receipts and all the transfers documents
- Ensure that shift takes over and hand in is done as per provided procedures and all control forms, customer observation records and the event book are updated and reviewed.
- Provide on-site training and leadership for Operators by ensuring that they follow procedures.
- Ensure Fuel off-loading point is manned at all times.
- Ensure that all the trucks are inspected according to the procedure defined in the Road transport policy
- Manage the stock movement, prepare a report return to the Depot Manager, and consult with him and ensure the depot is in compliant KPIs at all time.
- Ensure that a summary of off-loading details are done (arrival time, entry time, off-loading time) and ensure monthly

Competencies
- Min Degree of Higher Technician or University Degree in Physical Sciences
- 3 years of professional experience including one in the petroleum industry.
- Have managed people in another position
- Computing skills
- Work without supervision.
